Copyrights on the Internet
Is it public domain or not? Please read on -
When you are visiting various web sites it's real easy and convenient to just click and save with your little mouse button. Especially, when you see a graphic image or images (this includes photos) that you like, or to view a source code and copy part of or all of the coding because you like the way it looks and want a similar layout for your web site. The myth is that anything that is on the internet is public domain and may be taken without permission from the creator or the owner. Some people actually think that just because you may have stored these or similar content in your computer’s cache, and because certain browsers allow you to do "file save as", you can use this material as you wish. Well, THIS IS FALSE!
